Our History
Founded in Nashville in 2016 as TeacherFindr, Inc., our company has grown from the original concept to a full-service tutoring provider serving students in all 50 states. In 2020 we added an online platform so we could provide the high-quality, one-on-one tutoring sessions in a virtual environment. In 2023 we partnered with ZOOM to provide the best quality online experience.
How TutorUp is Different
Our most valuable asset is our team of tutors. We only work with experienced, certified, background-checked teachers. This sets us apart from almost every other tutoring service out there.
In addition, all of our tutoring sessions are one-on-one. We don’t do group tutoring, because we feel that students who need a little extra help don’t need to sit in another classroom and compete for the teacher’s attention.
We’re confident that our rates for tutoring are very competitive in the industry, and we are proud to be paying our teachers at a level their professionalism deserves.
